Dr. Soo grew up in Seoul, South Korea then moved to Michigan as an exchange student when she was sixteen. Then she moved to Wenham, MA to pursue her Bachelor's degree in Biology at Gordon College. Dr. Soo received her general practice training at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Downey, CA, where she gained experience working with medically complicated patients. Dr. Soo decided to pursue dentistry because of her mother who had lots of dire dental needs and wanted to help other patients with similar experiences as her mother. She also has a heart for patients with disabilities who have limited access to dental care.
Dr. Soo's clinical skills include cosmetic work such as fillings, crowns, veneers, Invisalign as well as root canal treatments, implants, and extractions. She believes that learning is a lifelong process and attends many continuing education seminars and courses to update and expand her professional knowledge. Dr. Kwon belongs to the American Dental Association and Los Angeles Dental Society. She is also a member of Spear Education and PIA Study Club.
Dr. Soo is a master at calming nervous dental patients and educating them about their dental health.
